      <body>Many people, like me, are behind a very strict corporate firewall which disallows URLs for auto-updating.

I'll have to download the latest version of Chrome manually from home, take it the work and install it there.  A pushupthweb reminder would've been nice though.</body>

      <body>Firefox doesn't auto update, people can choose not to be reminded. For example there are still people using 2.0.0.11.

Chrome doesn't have an update message, as I've mentioned it updates in the background so I don't need to remind them. For people like you behind a strict firewall an upgrade message wouldn't help, since you have to download it at home anyways, the problem there is the firewall.</body>

My problem is this:  With Chrome auto-updating, I will never when there is a new version available.  My home version auto-updates without notifying me.  My work version will never auto-update.  This is my currently problem with Google Talk too.

So I was hoping pushuptheweb would solve my problem by *reminding* me.  Then I could manually download it at home at take it to work.
